8:36 am	So, good news! I just received the call that I am training into C.o.H.! [Cue: "Another opening, another show.'] Bad news - still no benefits. :( Good news - Universal called me to do a T2 shift. Bad news - Couldn't do it. :( Plus, as most people 'round here know, there was no point to going to the HP auditions since I have the wrong genitalia. I am not angry, just irritated. I have the only job that someone can say, 'We won't hire you for this role. You are the wrong: gender, race, weight, height, level of attractiveness and/or I don't like your face.' Sucks, but hey, it was my decision to be an actor oh-so-very-many-years-ago. Good news - I've decided to [Audio cue 2] 'Brush up my Shakespeare'. Bad news - I'm the only one who cares. :( Etc. 1:02 am	New Head Shots! Got a new head shot done today. It is now officially the same colour as my hair, so I can stop threatening to use a marker to change my old one. I'll get the pic tomorrow, so I'll wait to start picking myself apart until I see it. Going to be doing NaNoWriMo this month, but can't write for the first five days due to rehearsal schedule; mine is more NaNoWri-almost-Mo. 8:59 am	Healthcare for All! Anyone who doesn't believe health care should be universal should look at my four friends who've died within the last three years. Yes, one of them had health care, but three didn't... and died in their early forties. They all would've been seen by a doctor earlier if they could've afforded it. As for the one who had health care - she didn't get seen early enough due to cost. All of them worked steadily. None were on welfare or food stamps. The bullshit level of the dead and dying due to cost is a horrible commentary on our lack of empathy to our fellow man.
